Professional Responsibilities of the ILSW:

• Coordinates total client care
• Periodic individual program support review and documentation
• Training via in-servicing, role modeling and staff meetings in the area of program services including: IHS goal areas, behavioral plans or approaches, documentation and client approach/rapport
• Participate in purposeful person-centered activities with resident
• Coaching and working with the clients on emergency situations
• Completing all necessary paperwork and working with the clients to live in their homes as independently as possible.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to pass DHS background study
• Ability to Multi-task and work under time constraints
• Experience working with individuals on the spectrum(kid's included)
• Excellent communication skills with clients, staff and other service providers
• Proactive approach to case management demonstrating leadership skills at all times with the ability to work independently.
• Strong assessment and organizational skills)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Paul, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
